Iran film ‘Rabidity’ to premiere in cinemas soon

Iranian flick ‘Rabidity’ directed by Amir-Ahmad Ansari is set to open in Iranian cinemas in the not-too-distant future, the director says.

Ansari was quoted on Thursday by the domestic media as saying that initial promotion for the movie was up, adding that ‘Rabidity’ will hit the big screen during the holy month of Ramadan.

He also noted that his new film titled ‘A Steep Slope’ is in development having the same genre as that of his soon-to-be released film.

The cast members for ‘Rabidity’, among others, include Hengameh Ghaziani, Jamshid Hashempour, Alireza Kamali  and Samaneh Eftekhari.

“I took a risk, all or nothing. I will do what it takes so my kid won’t be raised on the same streets as I was…,” a plot summary about the film read.

According to the director, ’A Steep Slope' is slated to screen towards the end of summer 2017.
